O Sol da Caparica is a 4-day music festival celebrating music from the Portuguese-speaking world. The 2026 edition runs August 13-16 at the Parque Urbano da Costa da Caparica, just across the river from Lisbon. Over 110,000 people attended the 2025 edition.
The 2026 lineup includes Orochi, Maiara & Maraisa, Sara Correia, Papillon, and Landrick (Aug 13), Veigh, Mizzy Miles, Calema, and João Pedro Pais (Aug 14), and Deejay Telio, Mc Kevinho, and Nininho Vaz Maia (Aug 15). Tickets are available as daily passes or 4-day general passes.
The luggage problem at Sol da Caparica
The festival takes place in an outdoor beach park. There are no lockers and no bag storage at the venue. Costa da Caparica is across the Tagus river from Lisbon - about 30-40 minutes by bus from Lisbon city center.
